Here is the question :
WHERE CAN YOU SCUBA DIVE IN BOTTOMLESS LAKES STATE PARK?
Here is the option for the question :
- New Mexico
And, the answer for the the question is :
[STC00943] The lakes that are said to be bottomless and lakes in the Bottomless Lakes State Park in New Mexico are none of those things. The park’s nine bodies of water are actually sinkholes that have been filled with water over time (also known as cenotes). They are anywhere from 17 to 90 feet deep and are fed by springs that are found underwater. The lakes are teeming with aquatic plants that give the water a greenish-blue tinge and create the sense of depth. It was the first cowboys who explored the area that gave the park its name because of this optical illusion. Only one of the nine lakes is open to swimming — Lake Lea, the deepest one, is a popular spot for scuba divers to get an up-close look at the springs bubbling up from below.
