John Tyler, the 10th President of the United States, holds the record for fathering the most children of any U.S. president, with a total of 15 biological offspring. He had eight children with his first wife, Letitia Christian, before her death in 1842. Following her passing, Tyler remarried Julia Gardiner, who was thirty years his junior, and the couple went on to have seven more children, the last of whom was born when Tyler was 70 years old.
